Areas of Expertise
I am a physicist who specializes in astronomy and astrophysics. My research interests include the study of extrasolar planets and circumstellar dust clouds. I am fascinated by the structure of star systems and the interactions of light and matter that occur in observational astronomy.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is to help students build the bridge between their intuitive knowledge of the world and the mathematical equations that describe it. Humans have adapted to instinctively understand how our world reacts to us in action and reaction, we just need some guidance to put that experience into mathematical terms.
Outside Interests
I love spending time with my wife and our cat at home. I love to play tabletop games and video games, cook new foods, and spend time with family.
