Areas of Expertise
I enjoy working with counselors-in-training as they develop their professional identities as counselors. My primary research interest is career exploration throughout the life cycle. I use biblical principles to help individuals overcome problematic life issues.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that students enter the university with knowledge about their lives and where they desire to be. As an educator, I assist students on their life-long journey by adding to their body of knowledge. My ultimate aim is to create a learning process that students will utilize for the rest of their lives.
Outside Interests
I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. You might see me on less traveled roads (e.g., Big Bend). I enjoy live jazz music, so join me some time at places like Luna on San Pedro Ave.
