Scholarships Available

The student's ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú application for admission serves as the application for the Office of Admission scholarships. Student must enroll as a full-time student to be eligible.

Incoming transfer students are eligible for an academic scholarship based on college level GPA. These scholarships are merit-based only and financial aid is available to supplement the cost of attendance. Student must enroll as a full-time student to be eligible.

Greehey Excellence Scholarship - $14,000
Greehey Merit Scholarship - $12,000
Greehey Achievement Scholarship - $12,000
Greehey Heritage Scholarship - $9,000

These scholarships are renewable each year with satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment.

The TExAS FAST (Texas Experiential Learning and Scholarship program for Food and Agricultural Science Training) Academic Scholarship Program awards up to $5,000 per year to incoming freshman or rising sophomores with unmet financial need who are majoring OR minoring in Environmental Science and Sustainability. These scholarships are made available through endowments provided by donors. Criteria and application for the endowed scholarships (when available) are in the forms and resources section of the Financial Aid website.

The GANAS (Growing A Network for Aspiring Scholars) Scholarship Program awards up to $5,000 per year to low-income, academically talented students with unmet financial need who are majoring in one or more of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Mathematics, Biomathematics or Computer Information Systems and Security. LSAMP Scholars receive $750 stipend per semester during years one and two. To be eligible, students must:

  • have a 2.8 GPA or higher
  • be a STEM major
  • complete the LSAMP Scholar application (in development)
  • The PUI-SATX-LSAMP program is funded by the National Science Foundation grant number HRD 2207388.

Undergraduate students related to ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú alumni (including parent, child, brother, sister, grandparent, aunt, uncle and cousin) are eligible to apply for this award through the Office of Alumni and Family Relations. Contact the office at 210-434-6711, ext. 3985 for more information.

This scholarship is for students who are accepted into the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Honors Program. It is renewable for four years based on scholarship guidelines. For Honors Program information and application, visit the Honors Program website.

These scholarships are available for incoming students (freshman and transfer) who have declared music as their major. Application requires an audition. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years based on scholarship guidelines. For more information, please contact Dr. Jessica C. Hajek, Program Head of Music, at jchajek@ollusa.edu.

Incoming transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa are eligible for this $3,000 scholarship. Students must have a minimum of a 3.00 GPA. Student must enroll as a full-time student to be eligible. This scholarship is awarded for two years and students must provide proof of membership and maintain full-time enrollment.

This $1,000 scholarship is for students in programs offered through the School of Business and Leadership. Criteria and applications for the scholarship are available at the School of Business and Leadership Office. Contact the office at 210-434-6711, ext. 2281 for more information.
